Matthew Nierman is an associate attorney at the Law Firm of Shihab & Associates with experience in a wide variety of immigration matters including federal court immigration litigation, employment based, family based as well as asylum and refugee based petitions and applications. He practices primarily in the area of employment based immigration including PERM, Outstanding Achievement/Researcher cases, and H-1B petitions. He also represents employment based immigrants in the protection of their legal rights having recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars for immigrant employees who have been mistreated by their United States employers. He prides himself on delivering the highest quality work product for his clients.

Before joining The Law Firm of Shihab & Associates, Mr. Nierman gained invaluable experience clerking for private immigration firms in the Columbus, Ohio area. Mr. Nierman also worked as an extern for the Office of the Ohio Attorney General.
