Zachary P. Farquhar

Zachary Farquhar is an associate at The Law Firm of Shihab & Associates Co., LPA who represents corporations, individuals and families in immigration matters. He counsels and guides employers and employees through all stages of the employment-based immigration process, including the initial acquisition of H (specialty worker) or L (intracompany transferee) visas, the labor certification process through PERM, immigrant petitions, and, through adjustment of status or consular processing, final attainment of permanent residency status. He has also represented clients in investment-based E-2 visas, as well as and Canadians and Mexicans seeking TN visas (as professional workers under NAFTA).
Before law school, Zachary worked as a paralegal in immigration law, bringing years of experience in the field to The Law Firm of Shihab & Associates. In addition, he has served as an extern to the Honorable Walter H. Rice, District Judge United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and as an extern/pro bono clerk at the Ohio Legal Rights Service.
