Robert J. Mann is of counsel to The Law Firm of Shihab & Associates, Co., LPA. Robert “Bob” Mann has been representing property owners in eminent domain cases for more than 15 years, and has been practicing in civil litigation for over 20 years. He has recovered millions of dollars of compensation for property owners, including an $8,000,000 jury verdict for a property owner who had land taken for the Columbus, Ohio Nationwide Arena. He has represented farmers, homeowners, and businesses in making sure government fulfills its constitutional obligation to pay just compensation when it takes property through eminent domain. Bob Mann is also experienced in appellate practice and land use litigation. He has taught continuing education courses for attorneys and other professionals in the field of eminent domain and land use litigation, and is listed in the Who’s Who directories for Strathmore and the National Registry. Bob Mann is dedicated to protecting the rights of property owners.
Bob Mann also believes in the importance of giving back to one’s community. Bob is an elected Trustee for Liberty Township (which includes Powell), Delaware County, one of the fastest growing counties in Ohio. Bob also coached youth baseball and basketball, and served several years as Legal Chairman for the Community Oversight Foundation, a non-profit citizen’s group, as well as being active in other civic associations.
